Stampd introduces Womens line for AW15

I’ve been waiting for this line to drop since I found out about it a few months ago and yes, it’s almost here! Stampd introduces their first women’s capsule line, featuring tees, jerseys, sport tops and a cropped version of their iconic strapped bomber. Even though the ladies can pick from the boys section as well, it’s nice to see founder Chris Stamp dedicates a full line to the streetwear gals, and gives us a warm welcome. Expect a fine mix of quality materials the luxury streetwear line is known for, such as neoprene and performance tech fabric updated with sleek silhouettes to complement the female form. And, of course, lots of black staples are involved. Available from November 17 on 12AM PST online only, where each item is limited to 100 pieces. Still making some decisions, what about you?

His and Hers with EFFRA

So thrilled to finally share you this project we did with EFFRA, a contemporary jewellery brand based in London. Not only because of the lovely pieces we got to work with, but it also gave me the chance to do a ‘His & Hers’ concept together with my boyfriend. With their signature swallow, EFFRA fuses contemporary design with iconic aesthetics. Minimalist designs meets traditional craftmanship, EFFRA def knows how to add some understated elegance to your everyday attire. From matte gold to handhammered finishes, laser engraving techniques and hand stamped marks of authenticity, they make sure all of their pieces are one of a kind combining old with the new. For this shoot we’ve tried to capture this vision while infusing our own personalities as well. For Jordi it ment showing his creativity as he’s an illustrator with a huge affection for craftmanship, and for me I’ve tried to embody my minimalistic taste mixed with that signature urban vibe to it. Shot in one of Philips renovated factories, we wanted to give the serie a …

Raw Frays & White Denims

Even though the temperatures are dropping, it’s never too late to wear skirts and crop tops during fall- and wintertime. Just plan some fancy clubbin’ with friends or a cozy dinner with the boy (or anything else that takes place inside, obviously), and you have the perfect excuse to pull it out your wardrobe. This set from House of Sunny has that minimalistic vibe all over it, well executed with thick white denim, large frontpockets and subtle raw finishing. It definitely shows off some skin on the back (which is perfectly fine! and sexy!) but it can be a little cold for now so throw it over with a sweat or coat and you’re ready to take off. To finish the clean look I’m wearing some lovely jewellery pieces from StillWithYou (remember my interview with designer Renathe?), and a white/silver watch from Charlize Watches. Where would you go with this outfit? Let me know in the comment section below, I’m really curious!

Treat your gear well

I always try to be very careful with expensive gear, especially when it comes down to my Macbook, Canon camera and iPhone. Without these handles Im pretty much useless as I need them to practice my job. So I have these special cases and sleeves to cover and protect them, but honestly, it doesn’t make them look any better. At all. So I’ve been on the look out for that perfect piece to carry my stuff with for a while now, but it has been really difficult to find a bag that’s well designed and functional at the same time. Luckily I came across this lovely neoprene tote bag by ULTRAOLIVE, executed in a simple all black colorway. There’s no laptop sleeve or iPhone case needed, because the bag features an interior pocket for laptops up to 13″, and has a front pocket for phones up to an iPhone 6 Plus. The zip tote is entirely made from abrasian & water resistant 3mm thick neoprene. Not only protective but also perfect for people who appreciate …

‘The Unaltered Form’
editorial by

I’m very thrilled to show you the first editorial we shot for UN-CLUTTERED, titled ‘The Unaltered Form’. Usually my boyfriend shoots all my outfits for the blog, but this time I needed some extra fire and that’s where my friend and talented photographer Elvira Porcedda comes in. We’ve been working together in the past for several times now and it’s so cool to see how we’ve both progressed and still know with only the use of one word, what we seek from each other. For ‘The Unaltered Form’ our inspiration comes from classic cuts, original shapes and simple, timeless designs. Comfortable, sports-inspired clothing that defines the past, present and future where the allover vibe will always remain the same, no matter how times are changing. This is not a reflection of todays fashion choices, but a reflection of my appreciation for the unaltered form. For the editorial I teamed up with Urban Outfitters as, how I see it, they always know how to keep track of the originals. I love how they find a balance …

On a Coat hunt

Yep, it’s that time of the year again to search for a new coat to survive coming winter season with. Although I’m excited to add a new cover-up, i’m always struggling to find the perfect one. It’s a piece you are going to wear for almost every day during a period of 2 to 3 months, and therefore easy to get bored by really soon. And don’t forget it has to match with your entire wardrobe (that’s where the hard part comes in). Investing in the right piece is the real challenge in here, so I decided to go on an online coat hunt first. These online treasures pretty much sums up my list of dream coats, yes, dream coats as most of them are too expensive for the current state of my wallet… But it can be really good coatspiration instead while searching for a more affordable one. Or maybe, maybe I just win the lottery and buy them all. (dreaming won’t hurt right?!) Charlie May Alpaca Coat – €1030,- &Other Stories Wool Blend …

Transitions with Harmony Paris & AÃRK Collective

I recently got asked by Harmony Paris to do a small collaboration with them, and Fall season couldn’t have a better start for me. I picked their white ‘Siegrid’ sweater with the ‘Naïve’ embroidery to work with, and obviously I made the right decision. Forget about darker colors, I’m going for transition whites, the best way to gear up for the colder season. The Parisian label creates ready-to-wear collections for both women and men, set up by David Obadia (also known from the BWGH brand). Harmony brings the world of classic tailoring together with sportswear-inspired silhouettes, with a simple, refined and wearable look as a result. Ever since they brought out their first collection one year ago, I could see me wearing every single piece, including the menswear line. It’s pretty clear Harmony is one of my fave street-inspired brands, so to be working together is a little dream come true! I’m wearing the cozy sweater (it’s super soft!) with the Marble Carrara watch from AÃRK Collective, a collaboration between the Australian watch brand and …

Merging the best of both worlds: Très Bien x Stüssy

I was pretty stoked when I found out that Swedish store Très Bien linked up with Stüssy on a Fall ’15 menswear collection, with a strong minimalistic approach to it. The two brands blessed us with a range including some boxy T-shirts with an embroidered option, loose-fitting shorts, a long-sleeved polo, a coaches jacket and a pair of sunglasses to complete the look. Using Italian fabrics with more contemporary silhouettes, the collection finds a perfect balance between Stüssy’s Californian skate and surf roots and Très Bien’s refined Scandinavian perspective. “For our generation, Stüssy, together with other U.S. brands like Nike, Levi’s and Champion, was the uniform at a certain age,” Hannes Hogeman told to T Magazine, who, along with his brother Simon, runs Très Bien. “The designs came effortlessly, to be honest. It was more about removing details, changing the cuts and adding some fabrics that you may not usually get from Stüssy.” It will be no surprise to you if I admit I would wear every single piece of this collaboration, that’s why you …

A talk with jewelry
designer Renathe from

Meet jewelry designer Renathe Todal Tande from StillWithYou! I recently reached out to this lady for this ‘A Talk With’ column as she continues to inspire me with her effortless taste for jewelry. Renathe started the StillWithYou studio only a few years ago and her pieces are now worn in over 30 countries all over the world. The Copenhagen-based jewelry designer has this weak spot for dark, minimalist silver pieces, she works mainly with raw crystals and delivers a strong focus on longevity both in style and quality. As she describes ‘staple pieces for the minimalist’. After I found out about SWY through Instagram, I thought it was about time to get to know her and Renathe’s latest collection designs a little bit better, so here we go! Hi Renathe, please introduce yourself! “I am orginally from Norway and moved to Copenhagen in 2010 after studying political science in the south of Norway. I started making jewelry as a hobby in December 2010, and now run StillWithYou studio in Copenhagen.” You’re a jewelry designer and …

AMSTERDAM: 5 places you should currently know about

For me there’s nothing better than spending the day exploring new places. Of course there’s one simple rule to stick by: avoid the usual spots. You have to see it as a challenge where you try to be the local who knows about all the cool places a tourist probably would never find out about. So when Urban Outfitters Europe asked me to share my fave hangout spots in Amsterdam I didn’t have to think twice about it. I’ve spent many days in the capital as I went to school there, did my internships, even lived there and got myself a job for quite a while. Now when I visit the city it’s mostly for business meetings, special events or catching up with likeminded people. But when I have some time left, I can’t resist to (re)discover Amsterdam’s finest places, from old to the new. As you might already know, Amsterdam is the perfect area for combining a shopping spree with some cultural art sessions and yummy food tastings. But I can imagine it can …
