One night in Paris

About a month ago my boyfriend and I went to Paris for a one night stay as a little present for Christmas. So romantic right? Haha. We never went to Paris together before, so this was the perfect opportunity to do a quick meet-up with the city of love. Last time I’ve visited Paris was to enjoy Disneyland, and I’m talking about a way long time ago. So I never actually had the chance to do a good city exploring really, next to seeing the usual touristy stuff like the Eiffel Tower and Moulin Rouge (never been inside though!). So this trip was all about enjoying Paris like a local would do, and I have to say we quite succeeded at that! After a 4 hour drive we arrived at our super cute stay for the night: Hotel Henriette. The moment you walk in the hotel you get pretty overwhelmed with all the lovely stuff you see blending in with the exquisite interior design. My first
sneaker purchase of 2016: New Balance 990 GL3

Even though 2015 was full of some serious sneaker heat (find an overview over here), I know 2016 is off to a good start already. I’m talking about my first sneaker purchase of the new year: the New Balance 990 GL3. Normally I’m not that New Balance type of person, but when I saw this iconic running shoe I just couldn’t resist them. Made in the USA, the shoe is filled with technology and rich in history. Due to its iconic silhouette mixed up with some modern features they are the perfect everyday beaters for me. What are your thoughts on these? Gearing up for Winter

Even though I’m a sucker for Summer, I kinda love the Winter season as well. I mean, walking your way through some crispy snow and ending the day with a cup of hot chocolate drink on the couch, sometimes Winter do has its charms. (Still waiting for some snow to arrive while writing this. *Sigh) As I mentioned before, I’m always struggling finding the perfect winter cover-up (you can read why over here). And believe it or not, but I think I’m quite sorted for the coming months as I stumbled upon this lovely coat by Native Youth. This UK-based label designs timeless pieces but is always versatile enough to keep it cool. This updated version of the classic bomber will keep you warm for sure, and forms the perfect throw-over as you can wear it with almost every outfit. A fluffy roll neck sweater and cigarette pants is worn underneath to create a more classy and feminine look. I’m geared up for Winter now, what about you? Native Youth Jacket, Sweater & Pants | …
