A weekend filled with art
Last weekend my boyfriend and I spent a night away in Rotterdam, staying in the always lovely STROOM hotel. You might recognise it from our previous visit a year ago (which you can read back over here). We came back to enjoy bits of Art Rotterdam, and visited the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum for the first time. We saw classic pieces from René Magritte, but also the much anticipated ‘Infinity Mirror Room’ from Yayoj Kusuma and impressive modern paintings from Tomas Rajlich. We were quite overwhelmed by the amount of art, rooms and collections, and stayed there for almost 3 hours. Can’t wait until they’re going to renovate next year.
