Moscow designer & photographer Gosha Rubchinskiy got asked by GQ Germany to shoot the New Balance 990V3 sneaker style and the results are beyond! Rubchinskiy, who stocks from street style shops to high-end boutiques like Dover Street Market and Tres Bien, takes the shoe to a whole new level.
We can see the sneaker in a Soviet’ish setting – something the designer’s known for – styled with some serious normcore aesthetics. We have to thank Sam Jarou & Veneda Anastasia for that, as they took over the editorial’s styling & art direction.
The team succeeds in proving that the sneaker needs nothing more than a basic ensemble to be an absolute stand-out.
