Un-Cluttered x Hutspot

So a few weeks ago, Hutspot asked me to do a short but fun shoot together. Hutspot is a combination of fashion, design and local art, aiming to offer a platform for young creatives. They have 5 stores now, including my hometown Eindhoven. Working with the local creative scene is something they love to do; for instance my boyfriend sold some of his art works over there. So yes, I was a fan already. (Also this is a subtile advice to visit their stores if you’re around, obviously). Anyway, the plan was to make it entirely ‘un-cluttered’, from styling and location to of course, my clean easthetics. Normally I’m the worst control freak (my boy knows XD), but I saw it as an opportunity to once let go of everything and trust the Hutspot-team in this one. Glad I did, because I love what we’ve created together. You can find the looks down below – including items from the Hutspot collection, Samsøe & Samsøe, Selected Femme and Frisur – together with some iPhone shots I …

Urban Aesthetics with ONU

I would like to introduce you to ONU. They create everyday pieces combined with performance elements. A perfect blend as I love to wear sportive basics, especially when it carries functional features as well. When I saw their second collection – designed by Christina Liao – their breathable raincoat immediately caught my eye. From the outside the coat looks like a normal raincoat with minimal aesthetics. But when you take a closer look you will notice the coat features multiple design secrets towards motion and durability. The hidden seams enable movement, there’s a quick magnetic closure and a waist drawcord for a sleeker look. The outer shell is breathable and made waterproof to keep you protected. Perfect to face unexpected weather, something you def need in my country during this season. For this look I’ve tried to style the technical raincoat in a playful vibe. Surrounded by modern architecture, I choose an outfit that totally blends in with the urban environment. Oversized cuts, loose trousers, multiple layers and a slight touch of femininity to it …

Station Liège-Guillemins

I live right next to the borders of The Netherlands, so for me it’s always exciting to explore new places other than here. So when I got asked to shoot my #CozyTop5 for @team_cozy (soon more about this on un-cluttered) I wanted to do something different and special, not the usual places I go to for a quick visit. After some research I found out about station Liège-Guillemins in Belgium. People told me about it in the past, but I totally forgot about it until a few weeks ago. Luckily my boy had a day off just when the sun decided to came out to surprise us with a lovely summer’ish day. We took the car, drove for almost two hours and once we’ve reached the station, we both felt the trip was all worth it. It’s such a beautiful piece of architecture, right in a city where modern buildings are very hard to find. After he won a competition, Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava got the privilege to create the Liège-Guillemins station. Next to this …
